Natra was started in 1983 by Dana Madsen to produce a robot for the Minnesota North Stars. Next Natra began to produce electronic controls for Ternes Corporation. Word of mouth about the quality of controls started Natra's customer base. Eventually Natra added the making of specialty circuit boards to solve customer needs. Natra now works with a "sister company" Trius Industries to solve many manufacturing problems for customers.
